Challah Rolls with Lawry's Fire Roasted Chile & Garlic Blend

To say I'm smitten with Lawry's Fire Roasted Chile & Garlic Coarse Ground Blend Seasoned Salt would be a huge understatement... I flat out love it! (Although I must say there is no truth to the rumor I've been sleeping with the bottle under my pillow:@)

I had enough Challah dough left in the fridge to make rolls and really wanted to do something different with it. So I rolled it out, cut it into 8 pieces (about 6" x 1" each) and sprinkled them with the seasoned salt. Not crazy heavy, just enough that the dough was lightly covered with a pretty red color. Then I folded it in half, tied it in a knot and tucked the ends under. Gave the tops a light dusting of the Lawry's too...
As you can see, they rose into pretty round rolls with great streaks of red through them. These rolls went fast! My son mentioned they are a little saltier than other rolls (as he was reaching for his second one:@), but I felt the flavor was great -loved the garlic- and I will be using this seasoning on bread again!
The Challah recipe I use is from Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day and you can find it HERE.

Eat well and have a happy day:@)
