All I said was "I saw a Thanksgiving apron and thought of you".
Next thing I knew Earl threw a hissy (or is it pitched a hissy???).
PS-Yep, that is a hard frost you see, went down into the 20's on Monday night
and the Mid-Atlantic is expecting a Nor'Easter with up to 50 MPH winds and rain/snow tonight.
My thoughts lie with those still struggling through Sandy-please be safe.
I'm from the south and we always called it throwing a hissy fit. You don't want to witness some people's hissy fits :)
ReplyDeleteI'm with you in wishing those suffering from Sandy to stay safe. The weather patterns seem to be stuck. Hope you and Earl also stay warm and bundle up with the upcoming front.
Sam
LOL at Earl! My daughter seems to throw those hissy fits now and again, too!
ReplyDeletePlease don't tell Earl but it could be worse--as in, my sister is roasting a ham for Thanksgiving in addition to a turkey.
ReplyDeleteI believe the correct term is throwing a hissy fit. I should know as I've thrown quite a few!!
Best,
Bonnie
Poor Earl, such a sensitive guy! Hope he didn't get frost bite.
ReplyDeletehugs, Linda
"Hissy fit"...I haven't heard that phrase in ages. Sometimes its the perfect way to describe behavior. Hope Earl gets over it.
ReplyDeleteIt's threw a hissy fit here. I can imagine you are having frost because it's cold here today.
ReplyDeleteThat apron is so cute. We had to scrape the frost off our truck the other day. It's getting to be that time of the year.
ReplyDeleteearl, you have the cutest butt i've seen in a very long time! :)
ReplyDeleteReady for round 2? Stay warm and safe. Earl is just going to have to get over it.
ReplyDeleteYou're so funny!
ReplyDeleteAnd the apron is really cute.
Poor Earl, hope he comes back before he freezes those piggy feet! Cute towel, Lynn, Stay warm. xo
ReplyDeleteI hope earl is back by now! Such a cute picture. I agree with Barbara. He needs some boots or slippers in that frosted grass. Joni
ReplyDeleteI know how to throw a good hissy fit occasionally myself ;) Poor Earl, but his hearts in the right place. Good luck with that darned storm. I feel for everyone who has already gone through so much!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I hope that cold front does not come here yet....Christine
ReplyDeletePorr little Earl (why do I think of him as being real??!!). Hope he doesn't get lost in the frost. Love the apron!! Sure hope you don't get hit by the storm again.
ReplyDeleteEarl shouldn't be so touchy. He'd better watch it or those giblets will freeze. :)
ReplyDeletevery cute post.
ReplyDeleteLOL! A pig with an attitude : )
ReplyDeleteHe's jealous - he wants to be number one! sandie
