I'm so glad I didn't stop for that pizza!
Baked Ham and Cheese Jalapenos-no real recipe here folks:
1. Slice the 3"-ish peppers in half and scoop out the seeds and veins-I use a melon baller.2. Dice the ham small and add to the peppers.
3. Sprinkle some cheddar on top of the ham.
4. Sprinkle some Panko breadcrumbs on top of cheese-I just used a little for crunch.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until cheese has melted and turned golden brown.
6. Sprinkle lightly with kosher salt once out of the oven.
I am coming right over to try one of these. Did you save one for me? Yum. How big are the peppers?
ReplyDeleteOH My Goodness...How I WISH,WISH,WISH you lived across the street so I could say "I'll be RIGHT OVER"!

Kind of like a popper, but healthier. These look delicious and they sure are easy to make. Great no fuss recipe.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great appetizer. One adult beverage here please.
ReplyDeleteDo you have margaritas? If so, please send me your address.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
Looks great. A lot better than pizza.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic finger food to bring somewhere too! And lucky us, the husband grows those.
ReplyDeleteNot going there with ya on this one but I know some people who'd hate me for not trying these. Happy Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteMy family would love these, they love heat! Looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteNom, nom, nom......much easier than trying to coat them like we used to do. I like the melon baller tip too. Kitchen gadgets often have many other applications than the one we bought them for.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect snack to me and you didn't have to go to the store to buy anything!! Happy Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteWhat time is dinner? LOL! You are such a gem to share so much with us here.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day to you!
Sounds Hot! Hot, hot, hot!
ReplyDeleteHope you and Ma had a good day!
