Late Summer

The pace of summer seems so fast,
Time's fleeting, there's so much to do.
Let's all try to slow things down,
and enjoy it before it's through.
This last verse added for all my bloggy buddies that are melting:
But for some it's been way too hot,
and they are ready to say... adieu!

Have a happy day:@)

  12. Definitely...we need to slow down and enjoy that which surrounds us. There is so much beauty out there...even in the heat or the rain. Today, in the break between the storms, I found a new zinnia plant, rising from a stray seed. Can't wait to see what color the blooms will be!!!

  25. Hard to believe it's already the middle of August and school has started or will be starting soon in my area. I feel sorry for the kids having to battle the heat since most schools don't crank the A/C up.

Hope you are enjoying the last few weeks of summer too!
