Daffodil Season!

Hi everyone! I'm happy to be joining Simple Pleasures, Fresh Cut Friday, and Favorite Things today with some bright, sunny, fragrant daffodils! I love all flowers, but I'm very partial to daffodils!
What we have here is $1.49 of happiness!
Soon I'll have many different varieties blooming in the yard:@)
Here's a close up of the Westmoreland swan and cattail milk glass vase.

    These Daffodil's are springin' up, they are so lovely, and this vase is delightful.
    Hey have you ever heard the daffodil's called "jump of Johnnies" or "Johnny Quils"????

  10. There isn't anything that announces the approach of Spring better than a sweet bouquet of daffodils.Another few weeks and they will start blooming here. In the meantime it's cold and wet.

  15. Daffodils are SO gorgeous! It must have something to do with them being among the first bloomers, but they are just so cheery! The Quad on my campus has been lined with them, and it's all I can do to go back inside after lunch! Thank you for your kind comment on my table this week!

  19. Aren't daffodils just happy flowers? I love them. I haven't seen them at my local Walmart, which is where most of my flowers come from. That seems like a great price! I'm ready to pick some from the yard aren't you?

  20. Flowers and vase are both beautiful and go so well together. I keep looking out for milk glass over here (England) but I don't see much of it. A great simple pleasure.

  45. From one fellow pig lover to another, thanks for stopping by. Love your sunny daffodils. I have had them blooming in my yard for a couple of weeks. Really thought they would be late this year because we've had such a cold winter, but they were right on time. In fact, a lot of stuff is blooming early because late February and early March have been warm.
