Everything pictured was marked 50¢
Ultimately I guess I should put my apron on and get ubber busy!
Think I'll do a little unbiased comparison and see how these icing pens work
compared to the Williams-Sonoma ones, should be fun:@)
I see some folks adding a random post every once in a while, I like it!
A few thoughts from my corner of the world:
-I'm fighting an invasion of raspberry bushes that grew from seeds the birds "dropped"... I'm afraid the battle is not going well for me. They are in a hedgerow and I don't have room for them, or their thorns, in my urban backyard. If they have to drop seeds why couldn't they be thornless??? Any words of wisdom?
-Trust me on this-Always, always, when home canning mark your canned goods with what's in them and the year. Don't think you will remember, all relish starts to look alike after a while, which was the jalapeño?
-Maybe Punky Phil was right and spring will be sooner this year. Temps have been in the 40-50's and that has really been nice, I hope things are greening up where you are too:@)

ReplyDeleteCarol
Fabulous bargains! Our groundhog General Lee seems to be correct, too...yay! Happy week!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteSpring is in the air. Nothing is green here yet. Everything is muddy from all the rain we got Sunday and Monday, but the snow is gone!
ReplyDeleteGreat bargains, Lynn. Way to go!
Things are looking up Lynn! I love collecting those kinds of bargains. Recently moving has cured me and I'm committed to using them up, so go ahead have fun.
ReplyDeleteOur temps were at 52 yesterday and I took the boys to the park. I even went down the slide with 'em ;D
Hi - I love looking through the clearance aisles - and love finding bargains! Thanks for sharing. Ciao, bella!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you really made out. Great shopping.
ReplyDeleteWhen live gives you raspberry bushes...make cobbler...or jam...you get the picture! ;-D
ReplyDeleteFabulous bargains. I think it will be a while before spring gets here. Oh well!
ReplyDeleteYou can't beat 50 cents apiece!!
ReplyDeleteIt does feel a little like spring around here too. I just hope we're not surprised by another crazy snow storm.

I just love clearance aisles. Or "Clarence" aisles as one of my children used to say. What a great deal. I will be watching for the finished project. You are always cooking up something good. Congrats on the win. Couldn't happen to a nicer Lynn. Hugs, Ginger
ReplyDeleteGreat bargains! Looking forward to hearing more about those pens! Enjoy :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like somebody is about to make something delicious! I don't have a clue what to say to you about the raspberries other then, enjoy! Sorry but that's best I could come up with!
ReplyDeleteWell gotta love those prices!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry bout the birdies being so annoying and dropping raspberry bush seeds about but that's a problem I wish I had! What's with my birds? They drop feathers and poop but never anything as delightful as raspberry bush seeds *winks* Oh and the canned goods thang cracked me up. It sounds just like something I'd do...Oh yeah I'll remember what they are...sure I will.....Ten minutes later...what was that again? *sighs* Vanna
Woohooo! I like a great bargain. I have no words of wisdom about the raspberries, but I did giggle at your comment about thorns.
ReplyDeleteAnd I giggled about the canned goods too. I do know that one from experience as well.
My mother did a lot pf canning. She always dated and marked what it was. You bought a lot of things that probably should be used. So start the stove.
ReplyDeleteWow! How come I never see good deals like that here?...Chistine
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable, and very usable!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea why Kathleen is cut off my name above. Any clues??
ReplyDeleteWow,you did get some unbelievably good prices! Happy Baking :-)
ReplyDeleteI would love to find the pens on clearance at my Walmart.

ReplyDeleteLittle signs of spring are showing up around here too...thankfully! Somehow just knowing it is March makes things feel better!
ReplyDeleteGreat clearance deals. I love clearance shopping. Sorry about the raspberry bush fight. You made me laugh though. Cute post.
ReplyDeleteWow! 50 cents for each of those items?! Unbelievable! And totally Uh-mazing!
ReplyDeleteSweet! (No pun intended).
ReplyDeleteYou did good, girl!
Enjoy.
I used to love my uncle's raspberry bushes. Funny that I don't remember the thorns. I guess my childhood memories are selective on the plus side!
ReplyDelete=)
Makes the makin even more Unbelieveable :)
ReplyDeleteI love when you find unbelievable deals like that! It looks like you are going to have some mighty pretty baked goods!
ReplyDeleteAnd the raspberry bushes made me laugh. I was never around the thornless ones. Working on a farm for many, many summers picking berries, I think they only grew the ones with the GIANT thorns!
Thanks for a fun stop this week for our little journey through Alphabe-Thursday's letter "U".
You are always uber-cool!
