Veggie-Table

Hi everyone!
I'm so happy and excited to be picking some vegetables from the garden! Although this might be the last of my zukes... I think the beetles got to them (again I hear my sons saying "Woo-Hoo"). And look, the little daisies are back!
I put together this little Veggie-Table in front of the garden.
I hit a few thrift stores Saturday and found this green and white granny square crochet doily,
it is so pretty and was only 50 cents!
I have so much admiration for folks that have the patience to make things like this!
My friend found the wire basket on clearance at the end of the season a few years ago,
it's so cute and rustic looking!
It doesn't get much better than this!

  2. Very sweet! I love fresh vegetables, especially tomatoes! I so wish I had a garden, but don't like gardening in the clay. Luckily I have several wonderful and generous neighbors who don't mind! Very cute display!

  3. Getting produce from your own garden is such a high. I'm constantly checking and re-checking the stages of growth of all the fruit in the garden. Soon I will have a cuke on the table. Soon. I didn't know anything could kill a zucchini?

    Enjoy your produce! Yum.
