It's a big day in Blogland, we're celebrating 100 weeks of Tablescaping with Susan at Between Naps on the Porch! Now that deserves a big ole "Woo Hoo!".
I've set the garden table for dessert, and we're outside enjoying the evening breeze.
Pretty pink doily, some of my Fenton Silvercrest, champagne, grapes and pizzelles to nibble on.
But not just any pizzelles, I call these Party Pizzelles! Once the batter is mixed I add little candy sprinkles,
they add a splash of color as they melt in the baker, more about them later...
What a nice way to end a long day-
Susan, thank you for 100 weeks of ooohs, aaahs and inspiration!
Have a happy day!
Such a beautiful tablescape. Love the setting in the yard. The pizzelles look just perfect to snack on and have a relaxing moment in the garden. Love the pretty pink and white. Hugs, Marty

ReplyDeleteSheer delight! I love the simplicity, but yet it has all the elements ~ champagne, candlelight, and those special pizelles. I like the way the pink crochet runner picks up the texture of the pizelles. Beautiful celebration table! ~ Sarah

This is so lovely and peaceful...everything looks so pretty.
ReplyDeleteEveryone always has the prettiest tablesettings..I, being from West Texas, tend to get too strong on these kinds of things.(or maybe it's just my personality??) Your's looks just beautiful.
What a pretty table, Lynn. Love the pink table runner and champagne/champagne bucket. The pizzelles look good - I'll be back to see you for Foodie Friday to get the recipe!

I really like your Fenton Silvercrest pieces. The cherries against the white add an elegant touch to the entire tablescape. Your pink crochet runner adds a nice soft texture against the lovely crystal champagne bucket. Good job! Cherry Kay
ReplyDeletePretty table and I love the pink table runner. SO pretty!
ReplyDeleteSWEET! You get a star for doing it outside. So hot, then it stormed.
ReplyDeleteDo you have a Pizzelle maker? I do and have never used it! But I know where it is, so that's a start!
Now I could really go for this anytime!! Your champagne bucket is TDF!!! Love the little Fenton basket as well. Wish I had one.

ReplyDeleteLove that pink runner.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun party idea, I can't wait to hear more about it. I love my pizelle maker, but don't use it often enough. Where ever did you get the gorgeous pink runner, another thrift find? The color is just gorgeous. Looked at the veggie table too, that is a fun crochet topper, but this really speaks to me.
ReplyDeleteThis is great! Pizelles and fizzles! Ok, technically pizelles and bubbles, but the other one *almost* rhymes if you say it verrrry southernish. I love anything pink so this delights me.
ReplyDeleteOh how pretty...love the pink! You have an evening breeze? Where do you live, I want to visit. It has been so hot here that we can't enjoy being outside...maybe soon the heat will break!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit!
