Because the 4th fell on a Sunday this year we had Monday off too-Woo Hoo!
Since that made me feel "just ducky" I thought I'd run with that theme this week.
98 degrees and it's gotta be 95% humidity...
still can't keep me from tablescaping! I made it quick, but I got it done!
I'm lovin' the duck, as the wind blows he swims around, so cute!

Please ignore the tatoo on the posterior,
he mumbled something about shore leave, tequila and a crazy weekend in Mexico...
I added some blue and green food coloring to the water. I have a fountain and on holiday weekends I've added the food coloring to that too, it looks very festive!

I love your sense of humor. This cute duck is really a lucky one. Or is it in truth a pig in the swimsuit? Anyway, it looks so refreshing in its clear blue water. What a sophisticated swimming pool. And "calypso color" is just the right term for this table. That look so nice on a hot day.
ReplyDeleteThanks for looking at my (little) table-vignette and for your kind comment.
Greetings, Johanna

ReplyDeleteSo fun to watch them grow -- so tricky to figure out how to use them all! So far this week I've tossed diced zukes into totellini soup and spaghetti sauce. Both yummy!
