Hi everyone! Need something a little different for the B-B-Q or block party? Mustard brings not only a beautiful color to this side dish, but it really ups the flavor too! I love dill so whenever I see a recipe using it I like to try it out, and this one is a keeper! I'm happy to be joining Foodie Friday today, please stop by to see what everyone else is cooking up!
I started making this long before blogging, no idea where it came from...
I hope you love it if you try it :@)
Mustard-Dill Cucumber Salad
2 Tblsp yellow mustard
2 Tblsp vinegar
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tsp dill weed
2 cukes
1 medium onion-thinly sliced
Note: the original recipe calls for the cukes to be peeled, quartered, seeded and sliced 1/4" thick. Mine are from the garden, I leave the peel on and just slice them about 1/8" thick.
Mix everything together.
Enjoy!
Yum1 I make these but, I have never tried adding the mustard to them! I will try them this weekend!
