Hi everyone! I'm joining Tablescape Thursday and Thrifty Thursday to share my holiday plate! I didn't set the table with it because as a Veteran I'd never eat off of this plate, but I think it screams 4th of July!
This is Corelle dated 1991, I found it for $2.
Simple but beautiful!
I wish each and every one of you a spectacular 4th of July weekend,
Neat collectors item & its so nice to hear of someone who knows the proper protocol for treating the flag. I just cringe when I see it on clothing or golf flag sticks or worse, sewn onto the pockets of jeans. Our neighbors left theirs out in the rain yesterday & I want to go take it down myself.
What a great plate! Have a wonderful 4th and thank you for your service to our country so that beautiful flag can fly as a symbol of the freedom we love!
Congrats on being the first "tablescaper" tonight. Love the plate. I didn't know you were a Veteran. Thank you for serving! Happy 4th to you and your family. D
Lovely plate, and a Happy 4th of July to you! Now get those tomatoes red-ed up -- 4th of July should be the first of the ripe garden tomatoes! Unless you are VERY far north of Philly! :-) Cass
My boys are grown and on their own and while the day job puts food on the table, it doesn't feed the soul. So this Philly Girl started Pig In Mud. Please join me as I welcome each season and holiday through brief posts focusing on home cooking, baking, crafts and Barbie fun. I hope you find this a happy place that provides inspiration:@) Lynn
