This little cake is only 5" round but it has a big presence!
I posted these vanilla cupcakes a while ago and was thrilled to find out that the recipe is just enough to fill my two 5" ramekins! The flowers are from the garden.
And yes, because it's small it's ok to have two pieces!
Have a Happy Day :@)

I like your thinking, Lynn! If they're small, you're allowed two! : ) What a great cloche ~ I have a small one, too, and I put a faux cupcake in mine {but I think you came to visit me, so you know that already}.

I've bought those tiny little cakes at the grocery store, perfect when you don't want left over cake calling your name for days. Duh, it's never occurred to me to try making my own. Yours is so cute and adorable. I'll be bookmarking the recipe for future use.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Susanne.
Love that you used your cheese dome for cake! I love making smaller cakes, often they are all that is needed, everyone gets a taste and no one (me) over does it. The flowers are just amazing.
