Zinnias!

Nothing says summer to me like Zinnias! My G-Mom-B always grew them and she'd send me outside with a vase and scissors to gather a bouquet. I also can't think of another flower that gives as many shades of pink as Zinnias! So, Happy Pink Saturday everyone, I hope you enjoy my simple first cutting of the summer!

Have a happy day!

  2. Hello, "Happier" :),
I don't know much about flowers, but I'm trying to learn. Zinnias are on my list to "try" :)
    Enjoy yours. They are pretty.

  3. Hi!

I just planted zinnias but I am not sure what color they will be. The tag said mixed. One year I had white and they made exquisite bouquets.

    Happy Pink Saturday.

  10. Thanks for your visit yesterday. My mom always grew zinnias too. We did the same thing and cut them for our home. I agree the colors are amazing. Your pink ones are so pretty. Mom leaned toward the warm colors like reds yellows and orange.

    have a wonderful day.
    Hugs, Jeanne

  12. I love zinnias too! They are such happy flowers and they last forever in a picked bouquet. I planted a whole passel of them but had to put an old fence around them as the chickens thought it was a great spot to scratch. :) Can't wait for mine to start blooming. They look especially pretty in a bouquet mixed with acuba.
