Team Colors Dyed Pasta Salad -Philadelphia Eagles Version

I decided to cheer on the Eagles with a little Team Colors Dyed Pasta Salad for the Bears game. It seems to have helped, Woo-Hoo! You could make a version of this for whatever team you are still rooting for (or for whatever sport you're watching at the moment). Have to chuckle, in real life the green was darker and did have a that murky blueish under tone... In my photos, it's green:@) This is a fun little project that's sure to be a conversation starter at your next football party!

For the Eagles I used: 17 drops of green and 3 drops of blue.

A few years ago I posted this neat little NFL color chart from McCormick:

  1. For each cup of cooking water use 20 drops of food coloring (for a brighter, intense color).
  2. Cook pasta per directions on the package or until desired doneness, drain and run under cold water until the water runs clear.
  3. Make your favorite pasta salad recipe and enjoy!

  1. This so fun Lynn! I Pinned that NFL color chart too, congrats on your win!!

  2. Wow! That looks...interesting! heehee! And I LOVE that color chart! Guess what...sit down if you need to....I rooted for your Eagles yesterday! And what a great game! WHEW! It was exciting to the very end! But of course in the end I have to say...Go Cowboys! heeheehee (don't delete this post!!!! LOL) Hugs!

  3. We both had wins this weekend, Lynn! Your green dyed pasta is so fun. Thanks for the color chart. I'll have to try that. My son will get a kick out of it!

  4. I thought of you when the Eagles won. I am not a pro football fan, and our college season ends tonight, but I am bookmarking this page for next year!

  5. Our household always roots against the Bears, but I was also rooting FOR the Eagles. So glad they won!!! Your pasta salad brings good luck.

  6. Congratulations on the Eagles' win, Lynn! The Bears are one of our Packer's arch rivals anyway :) Cute idea for the pasta! I'm going to save that chart too.

  7. What a cute idea of dying the pasta for team colors. Thanks for sharing at Cooking and Crafting with J&J.
