No, I'm not talking about a two year old past nap time:@)
These Crabby Tots just may be the easiest appy in the history of finger foods! Store bought Tator Tots get a shake of Old Bay Seasoning before baking and another shake once they're on the serving platter. The dipping sauce is ketchup with a hearty dose of horseradish (aka Cocktail Sauce). How much horseradish is up to you,
you know your crowd...
I guarantee a big tray of these will disappear fast during a playoff game folks!
Crabby Tots
~ Mix ketchup and horseradish to your liking.
~ Sprinkle Tator Tots with Old Bay and bake per the package instructions.
~ Transfer Tots to serving platter and sprinkle on a little more Old Bay.
~ Serve with sauce.
LOVE the title and your explanation. :)

ReplyDeleteI admit it, I love crispy fried tater tots and your version looks especially addictive, Lynn. What is it about fried potatoes that is irresistible? It must be the crunch. Happy New Year!

ReplyDeleteWow, that is EASY! When I posted about bacon wrapped tots last week I couldn't believe how popular these little potato nuggets are! Apparently the whole world loves tater tots! I am going to see if they do work on a crabby 2 year old, because I've got one running wild around here!
