Sometimes I'm amazed at what I find at thrift stores, occasionally because the price is so high... and sometimes because it's so low. I found a set of 12 crochet and starched snowflakes, 3.5-4" big and no two alike, for 47¢. Immediately knew I'd hang them from the kitchen curtains with fishing line (six in each window) and I plan to enjoy them all winter...
Or until we've had enough snow:@)
These silly little snowflakes make me smile every time I see them and I'm tickled with this purchase!
I hope you're finding some thrifting treasures this season too, have a happy day:@)
They look lovely, you were lucky with such a small price! You have pretty kitchen curtains too, it looks very cozy with the snowflakes :-). xx

I love them! My mom and gram used to make the crocheted snowflakes. What a deal :-)
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable and so much easier than making them yourselves. I never find much at our Thrift Stores. We must all be too thrifty and hold onto things. I know I give them great things all the time! haha
ReplyDeleteI love these snowflakes, Lynn -- wish I could find some!! You're a smart thrift store shopper! I also LOVE your stained glass piece in the window; it's absolutely gorgeous!
