I made a more... full fat version... using regular bacon and cheese. I also didn't measure the chives so I know there's more than a tablespoon in mine. Be sure to give it the hour in the fridge so all the flavors can mingle, it makes a big difference. Whether you're counting points or not, I think you'll like this dip if you try it!
Weight Watchers Loaded Baked Potato Dip-from You Brew My Tea
1 C low fat sour cream
2 strips turkey bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
1/8 C 2% shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 Tblsp chives
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp onion powder
~Mix everything and let chill for 1 hour. Serve with reduced fat chips or veggies.
Mmmmm, Lynn, sounds delicious, I especially like the idea of this dip with a baked potato (or a cooked potato in its jacket perhaps?). xx

ReplyDeleteMmm this dip sounds so good, Lynn. I'd be using regular bacon and full fat cheese, too. I never buy turkey bacon as it's not something that I even like. Why do they even call it bacon?
