I made a simple tree skirt and trimmed it in silver garland for a little bling:@)
My livingroom is dark so it's hard to get pics without the flash, but here's the whole tree.
I haven't been decorating it for football season for long,
I keep my eyes open for small ornaments or craft ideas and will add to it as time goes on.

Have a happy day:@)
Oh and... Go Eagles!
Those of you that are sports fans really seem to have fun with it! I wish I could get more interested. I cheer on the baseball Cardinals and always have fun if we are at a game of some kind, but I am usually watching a Hallmark movie while my husband watches football! The tree is very clever!
ReplyDeleteYour football tree is very cute but.......it would look better decorated in the green and gold of the Green Bay Packers! Go Pack Go! ;o)
ReplyDeleteyou are just a crazy person. :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I used to have Eagles tickets when I lived back in PA and still root for them!
ReplyDeleteYes, you ARE such a crazy person....I love how much FUN you have at your house!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the bread recipe, too. i would love to try it.
You are so fun Lynn! I know there's never a dull moment at your house! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute idea, Lynn!! Those footballs are great; did you get those at Michael's this year? We are really enjoying the football season this year; I just couldn't seem to get into it so much last year. The Broncos are my favorite team now because Peyton Manning is my favorite quarterback. But...I also like the Green Bay Packers (have liked them for years) and there are a few other teams I like, as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you shared these pics; this is a great idea for football season! :)
Hugs,
Denise at Forest Manor
Hi Denise! Yep, they have the little football ornaments at Michaels again this year:@)
DeleteI was on earlier and you had some Zombie figures you got from Walmart. I was just wondering if you got them from a super walmart and where exactly did you find them? With the Halloween stuff or with the party stuff? I'm interested in finding some. Thanks, I love your blog.
ReplyDeleteHi Beth! I don't see any other way to contact you so I'll leave a note here. The Zombies were from my Super Walmart, they had big bins on pallets that were loaded with little Halloween party favors/treats for kids. They were with the Halloween stuff and everything in the bin was 97¢. Hope you can find some:@)
DeleteOk, thanks...We have a small Walmart store so I hope I can find some too
DeleteWhat a fun tree, Lynn! I especially love seeing your reflection in the silver ornaments. The Eagles should pay you as their favorite promo person and give you season tickets. xo
ReplyDeleteWonderful idea! I know my family would go nuts for a Packers' tree :)
ReplyDeleteYou know me. I love using my trees year-round with all kinds of seasonal decor. Love your football tree!
ReplyDeleteLove your football tree and Go Eagles!
ReplyDeleteI love feather trees. We had one for years and it finally gave up the ghost. How clever to decorate it in a sports motif .
ReplyDeleteSam
I love your Eagles tree! :)
ReplyDeleteLove your football enthusiasm and your blinged out skirt for your tree Lynn! Is that a water view in your background?! :)
ReplyDeleteWallpaper scene with a wink and nod to the lakes down the road... I'm a land lubber these days:@)
