oh yea, I did just say that,
chocolate covered bacon!
It's sold by Vosges Haut Chocolat and their motto is "peace, love and chocolate",
gotta love that:@)
Here's their write up:Taste our NEW flying chocolate pigs, dressed in what else but…bacon. Adoring fans who pine for Mo's Bacon Bar, beware! This flying chocolate pig is filled with applewood smoked bacon, Alder wood smoked salt and deep milk chocolate…yet another way to get your daily dose of bacon.
Have a happy day:@)

ReplyDeleteEarl better watch out! You'll be dipping him in chocolate! I have a chocolate party on the deck every summer ... at the end of the semester ... so everybody can wind down ... with chocolate and wine. This year, I'm frying bacon and dipping it in dark chocolate! It is very popular these days. Hope things are going well for you and Earl! Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteMy friend works a Farmer's Market where they are a big hit! They call them Pig Lickers.

I had the tv on this morning before I was fully awake and I think it was on AGday, there was a report about Bacon perfume. I have not taken the time to check it further, but I know they said more than one scent. Bacon and Maple perhaps?

ReplyDeleteNow Lynn, Let's see! Let's fill the fondue pot full of melted chocolate and give our party guests bacon(On those cute little dipping forks of course, we ARE civilized)! Hehehe!!! Is Earl hiding in the closet while Mommy drools!

I'm diggin the chocolate pig...but the bacon I'm not sure! There is a little candy shop by me that had chocolate covered bacon....hmmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteSounds interesting. I guess you have chocolate with nuts in it, so it's not too far from that. Why don't you be the guinea pig and let us know how it is?
ReplyDeleteLove chocolate and love bacon but together? Hum interesting!
ReplyDeleteI actually saw chocolate covered bacon at a cute little chocolate shop in Florida...it was not pig shaped. I sort of had a chill thinking about it, but I love salted caramel...so this might be good too. I think you should treat yourself to the piggy!
ReplyDeletehappy easter
ReplyDeleteI'd give it a try! As long as it isn't turkey bacon, yuck!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I have not ever heard of this! I am not sure how good that would taste!! But you just never know it might be delicious.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll be daring and try it! Loving that piggy!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
Nancy
I have heard of this and it intrigues me!
ReplyDeleteI've heard of it, but haven't seen it yet. You know I'd try it!
ReplyDeleteHow could it be bad? I'd like one in my Easter basket, thank you!
ReplyDeleteHow much fun are those? Do you think they make them with dark chocolate too?
ReplyDeleteHear that? It's my arteries clogging.
ReplyDeleteActually, I tried chocolate covered bacon last summer and it isn't as good as it sounds. Love the little flying pig though.
