and you know, just to keep my strength up, I thought I'd have a snack...
The table on my patio this morning.
Now, the snow is fun for kids of all sizes and ages and Earl couldn't wait to get outside.
Now, the snow is fun for kids of all sizes and ages and Earl couldn't wait to get outside.
He asked if he could go sledding, I said for a little while-
gotta get the lid back on the jar of peanut butter before it drys out:@)
Unfortunately, pigs can't hold a shovel!!!
Adorable...now tell Earl to be careful out there!
ReplyDeleteCindy
Better get Earl in before he freezes his little tail off. Cute post.
ReplyDeleteThat is what our table outside looks like too....well before the last storm and it completely disappeared! YOur pig is very cute and I don't blame him, I wouldn't shovel either.
ReplyDeleteWow, what some deep snow. Enjoy the snack!
ReplyDeleteEarl looks to be having a great time. Our snow is really ice!! I think I'm ready to put away my snowmen also. I thought they would be cute, but now I'm done with them! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of snow! Be careful shoveling and make sure Earl doesn't get frostbite!
ReplyDeleteJane
Wow, that is a lot of snow! Stay warm and enjoy your snack on your lovely dishes.
ReplyDeleteEarl is just too cute! Love the pics of him playing in the snow. Too funny! Cookies and tea looks great about now.
ReplyDeleteLoving your post so cute! Earl is looks like he is having fun....in s snowy situation. Thanks for sharing! I need to get started on my tablescape!
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn! Oh, poor little Earl - he's going to freeze his little curly Q tail off!! :) Your little snack plate looks so pretty!
ReplyDeletebe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Earl is so cute out there ... love that little piggy! We only got 3" last night, durnnit!!
ReplyDeleteTY for your sweet well wishes ... I'm slowly mending & unbruising.
TTFN ~
Hugs, Marydon
So funny...I think all of Blogland has snow in common right now! If these keeps up we are going to be a grouchy group by spring!
ReplyDeleteHa...Earl is far braver than me or my cat...we do not venture very far. We are cabin feverish. Joe and I drove just 3miles to a Mexican place to eat last night and I was just giddy to get out....Just pitifil I am.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Too bad pigs can't hold a shovel; perhaps your back wouldn't hurt so much. Oh wait, it's my back.
ReplyDeleteEarl is such a sportsman. Those cookies look yummy.
ReplyDeleteWith that kind of snow, not much you can do. Staying in by a fire, snacking on cookies and coffee would suit me fine.
ReplyDelete8 "! Wow. I haven't seen snow like that in over 30 years. We're slap happy if we get a dusting around here.
ReplyDeleteAnd you and your pig...
You're such a nut.
Lynn, I'm worried that Earl is going to slip on the ice! Earl, you be careful, you hear???
ReplyDeleteLove your tablescape, and I want a cookie SO bad. I fixed "one" earlier, and now I want another. I'm trying to limit myself. Of course the fact that I chased it with some mac and cheese (the whole pan) doesn't help. Cold weather makes me EAT! ;-)
I love that shot of your outdoor table. That's gorgeous, and I want your white china! So pretty!
Happy Tablescape Thursday...
XO,
Sheila :-)
I'm in NE Ohio and it's still snowing here. We have about a foot! Another month of this and I'll be thinking I sold the wrong house! (I used to have a house on Anna Maria Is in FL but opted to live up North where I grew up!)
ReplyDeleteVery cute. I have the same outdoor table.
ReplyDeleteI think we are finished with snow too. The cookies look yummy.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute, Lynn....Christine
ReplyDeleteWow!! We were supposed to get nine inches of snow but it turned in to rain instead!! Love the pig. What a cute hat!!
ReplyDeleteVery jealous that we are not getting that snow...no don't put abway the snowmen! Love you pis as usual. Joni
ReplyDeleteLOVE your snack set but I can honestly say that I do NOT envy you all that snow.
ReplyDeleteCarolyn/A Southerners Notebook
Earl should have a fine time in all that snow! Will he get some hot chocolate to go with the cookies when he comes in from the cold?
ReplyDeleteWow...8 inches! We only got 6 here which is bad enough. The nation is really getting pounded, isn't it? I'm glad you can find the humor in it all! Makes it a whole lot easier to take! Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteNow that's what I call a boatload of SNOW...hope it gets better for you soon:)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
Back again! - missed your posts & thanking you for your lovely comment on mine and wishing you a Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteGreat post - so funny!
XOXO Lola & Nora:)
Love yur tablescape . . and your snow!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'd need a bigger snack than that were I to shovel that much snow! Love the snackset though..
ReplyDeleteOur table has looked like that for weeks! It almost screams to be set with some dishes doesn't it! My snowmen can't retire (unfortunately) for a long time. We have had record snows, but at least today it was sunny.
ReplyDeleteLove the pics of Earl playing in the snow. The snack set is great!
ReplyDeleteSo cute -- Earl is just such a fun lovin kind of guy!
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog...I can see we are sharing the same weather up here in NYS!!! Our birdhouse has the same white "decor" as your table. Your snacks look wonderful...gotta keep the enery up, right? Hope Earl had fun and eventually gave you the peanutbutter lid back!
ReplyDeleteTess
Wheeeeeee! Go, Earl! Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing this year how we here in Michigan are not the snow bunnies of the states. Right now there are many many places up and down the east coast that have more snow than what I have even considering our lake effect. Thanks for sharing your winter pictures with us.
ReplyDeleteHi lovely lady. I hope you and your family are all doing great today !!!I love all your snack's look's womderful on a cold day like today. I would like to Thank you so much for all your lovely comments on my blog. Im your newest follower sweet lady.

ReplyDeleteLots of love,

Lynn, You and Earl are "snow" silly! This weather in the States is wonky! I am so ready for spring and warm weather, let me tell ya! I don't like Ohio winters at all. Give me New Mexico, where I grew up, any old day. It snows, the sun comes out and melts it, and it's beautiful again. We enjoyed all four seasons in northern NM, and I wish I was still there. Stay warm! ~ Sue
ReplyDeleteLynn...if there is any danger of the peanut butter drying out, I'd say we should dip the cookies in it. EVERY thing is better dipped in peanut butter. Looks like Earl is having fun :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Gail
Earl, all dressed for sledding, is just soooo cute! Wow! That photo of your patio table is incredible. I'm soooo glad we don't have to shovel that much snow - I'd be so tired, I wouldn't have the strength to get the cookies on a plate. Speakiing of cookies - yum! Thank you for linking to Favorite Things. laurie
