I'm ready for Sanibel Island! Even tho I don't mind a lot of snow, some sunshine and beach sand would be nice right about now. Your pictures are wonderful!! Debbie@lakehouse
Our snow came down in huge fluffy flakes... the kind that sit on your nose and eyelashes just like the song says. BUT, we only had 2 inches of it and it's been a dry winter here. Will take a bit of yours if you want to bring us a dump truck full.. LOL
Didn't realize that you are in Philly!! We were only supposed to get an inch here in North East Pa. but it turned into 4 inches at my house and 10 minutes away, it was barely an inch!! Weird!!
After seeing all your snow, I know I should not complain about the cold weather we are having down here but... Great pictures! The last one is very pretty.
You know Lynn, this kind of snow is only to be enjoyed from the warm inside. How awful that you had to go out and brave it!!! I love Cindy Lou's tree, that's really what it looks like! Now I can see why you were complaining about the snow, the fake cookie kind is much much better.
It does look pretty though. I don't blame you, sometimes enough is enough. When we lived in idaho I thought spring would never come and sometimes it didn't until june. Crazy. You do need a vacation somewhere warm.
Good morning! I'm one of those people who loves the snow - I think I've loved it all my life. With my husband being a meteorologist, I think his excitement and energy level during any storm has been contagious. As a school teacher I've had the opportunity to stay home during big snow storms, and haven't had to deal with a commute. And of course it looks so lovely from the inside of our home, sitting by the fire with a glass of wine. On another note we're heading to the Philadelphia Flower Show in March, have you ever been there?
Oh my that is a lot of snow. It is beautiful though. Good luck digging your car out. and I complain if my car is behind the gate and I have to back it out.
OMg and I thought our rain in So CA was getting too boring, glad we have sunshine now, but hate to boast but it is wonderful, I would head to Florida... lol...I was born and raised in Buffalo, Ny...and my sis is still there, so I can relate...put on a snuggy and grab your hooks or a good book with a cup of hot tea... and one of those scrumpious cupcakes over at Quintessential Magpie's blog.. My boys are grown and on their own and while the day job puts food on the table, it doesn't feed the soul. So this Philly Girl started Pig In Mud. Please join me as I welcome each season and holiday through brief posts focusing on home cooking, baking, crafts and Barbie fun. I hope you find this a happy place that provides inspiration:@) Lynn
Very nice snaps....I know snow is beautiful only while falling...later it is disgustingly irritating to walk on the roads.

omg, girl...this is soooo much snow. It's pretty as long as ya can stay inside, in front of a roaring fire, hot coffee and a good magazine. :)
ReplyDeleteWanted to say thanks again for your great WEEKLY MEME list on the sidebar. I use it all the time and it makes it easy not to miss a good one. :)
Now, excuse me...I just got my new waffle iron from CSN and I am making waffles this morning. Uh hu, I surely am!
