The inspiration for this tablescape was the hydrangea my friend Tina brought me from her garden. I knew they'd match the light blue color in this rooster tablecloth I picked up years ago.
Thanks T!
All items were thrifty finds except the vase, it's Fenton Silver Crest and was a gift from an antique store.
...and yes, the pigs were upset with roosters taking center stage this week,
but as I explained to them...
there is plenty of room in the barnyard for all of the animals!
Have a happy day!
That is so festive!!! nicely done!

Love the roosters & hydrangea! Hope the pigs are not upset for long :-)
ReplyDeleteI think you have a wonderful combo here, the Hygrangeas are very striking. And the colors of red and blue are beautiful. Happy Outdoor Wed.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty.
ReplyDeleteYou said, "...and yes, the pigs were upset with roosters taking center stage this week,
but as I explained to them..."
Makes me think of Animal Farm. We did a literature class on this over the past school year so it is fresh in my mind.
Cute post.

Very cute table... love the red, white, and roo! ;-) Love the rooster tablecloth and the rooster serving piece (don't know what to call it... a covered soup?) as it's SO cute! I hope the pigs won't be too mad at you, but you're right, there's lots of room in the barnyard as you proved here so well today!
ReplyDeleteHappy Outdoor Wednesday...
XO,
Sheila :-)
Pefect! I love the milk glass with all the little bumps on it. It is called milk glass isn't it? I love adding the rooster! So fun. Thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeleteKarin :)

Hi Lynn,
ReplyDeleteYour glass rooster compote is terrific! The detail on it is really well done - looks great on your pretty table!
Amanda
I just love this! Such fun! Would love to cozy up to your little rooster!
ReplyDeleteGreat job,
Kathy
Now that is a rooster item that I have never seen anywhere before. Makes me think of a French farmhouse.
ReplyDeleteHi, I like your table, too. That is a very nice combination and I love that the most material is glass in different colors. This glass rooster looks quite airy and light and that makes it very nice. And the tablecloth is really pretty, it matches perfect for this farmhouse style. Yes, I agree with Lori, looks really a bit French. May be because they also have the colors red, blue and white and I am waiting, if not the French man on the bicycle will cross over with the French bagette bread under his arm.
ReplyDeleteThanks you for your nice comment. I always enjoy your funny pigs, love that header.
Greetings, Johanna
I love your red and blue table setting!

ReplyDeleteCute tablecloth and so nice of your friend to bring flowers. Just you don't love all the colors of the flowers blooming in summer? It is a virtual feast for the eyes outside my window today.
ReplyDeleteTwo of my favorite things...roosters and hydrangeas and to have them together at one table, couldn't get any better!
ReplyDeleteLove your rooster, and I really am not a rooster person like my friend above!

What makes a table sparkle more than thrifted pieces! And I think there may be room for a pig or 3 at the table. Very beautifully presented.
ReplyDeleteI love the roosters ! Everything is just beautiful!
