Barbie says "I don't know what all the fuss is about, cooking a turkey is a piece of cake"...
White clay, some brown craft paint and quick spritz of gold spray paint...
Looks good enough to eat:@)
And finally:
I've never been one to shy away from sharing one of my ~brilliant~ ideas that turned out to be a total Bloggy Blooper...
This is my attempt at decorating the top of corn bread with a turkey for Thanksgiving.
Yep, it's ok, go ahead and laugh:@)
I don't know if that looks more like a turkey head, a bald eagle or Abraham Lincoln???
Back to the drawing board... ugh.
Gobble, gobble... Have a great weekend everyone:@)

Now I'm going to have to go back to Walmart...you always get me in trouble! But you KNOW I love football...I know we root for different teams but we both love our dolls! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteOh my Lynn, you make me laugh! You're so fun!! But seriously, Barbie's turkey DOES look good enough to eat. You did a fabulous job. I should make one for Harper since she got the Barbie Dream House. She would love it...as long as Hayden wouldn't eat it. Those towels are too cute and would make a nice hostess gift!
ReplyDeleteI did notice the gold shine to Barbie's turkey!! Ok, I'm laughing but admire your work as you make a turkey on top of cornbread! I'm going to WalMart with my Mom today, lets see if one of their cute towels pops in the cart!
ReplyDeleteSo funny! I think I do see Abe there :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think that's a blopper at all, it looks just like a turkey to me! And as for Barbie's turkey, how cute is that??? You are beyond creative in the Barbie dept Lynn, this is so adorable! Gobble Gobble!
ReplyDeleteJenna
Too funny Lynn! Barbie's turkey looks perfectly roasted :) I had to laugh at the resemblance to Abe Lincoln!
