Spring Crocus!

Hi everyone-Happy Seasonal Sunday and Farm Friend Friday! Greetings from Philly where my first daffs have bloomed and the crocus are opening up!
St. Patrick's Day
Tis easy to tell when St. Patrick's Day is near,
The days are longer and the crocus are here.
Let's cook up some cabbage and a corned beef roast,
Pour a green beer and raise a toast!
It's a day for fun and festive green,

and always remember...
never iron a four leaf clover because you don't want to press your luck!

    I was just outside and all my daffodils and crocuses (croci?) are peeking through, but no blooms yet! Maybe next week. Linda

    We don't have any daffodils yet, just crocus and snow drops. It must be just warm enough there to urge them on. Thanks for sharing.

    this is a very pretty crocus or are they two? But anyway, very pretty.
    What a luck you told me, not to iron a four leafed clover. Whats about ironing a lucky pig? Flat pig = more surface = more luck???

    OOh love the blue. I bought some blue pansies to plant just today. They just looked so friendly. I think they might last for several months anyway. I have had one crocus appear and it was yellow.. the others are still in bud.. Thanks sooo much for your cheerful post! Love the poem.

    I also loved your funny little quip about ironing the four leafed clover. That must be my problem. Years ago, the husband used to find them, and I pressed them in a heavy book.

    And all these years I've been blaming broken mirrors...
