St. Patrick's Day
Tis easy to tell when St. Patrick's Day is near,
The days are longer and the crocus are here.
Let's cook up some cabbage and a corned beef roast,
Pour a green beer and raise a toast!
It's a day for fun and festive green,
See you at the Blog Crawl hosted by Kathleen:@)
and always remember...
never iron a four leaf clover because you don't want to press your luck!
never iron a four leaf clover because you don't want to press your luck!
Have a happy day!
That is too cute. Loved the "never press" saying.
ReplyDeleteOh you are a funny lady. Is that an original poem? You are a writer too.
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish I could see a flower popping out of the ground! Good point about not "pressing my luck"! LOL
ReplyDelete"don't want to press your luck"... *snort*

Gorgeous crocus!
ReplyDeleteMy daffodils should bloom in a week! No crocus, though! How lovely!
ReplyDeleteLove Ina!
I was just outside and all my daffodils and crocuses (croci?) are peeking through, but no blooms yet! Maybe next week. Linda
ReplyDeleteBeautiful crocus, the colour is amazing.
ReplyDeleteSee you soon for Ina's cook along.
Maggie
just beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteCrocus make me happy- I know spring can't be too far away! :)
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any daffodils yet, just crocus and snow drops. It must be just warm enough there to urge them on. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteCindy
How wonderful to see some flowers in bloom!! It gives me hope that spring will be here to stay very soon!!

Hello Lynn,
ReplyDeletethis is a very pretty crocus or are they two? But anyway, very pretty.
What a luck you told me, not to iron a four leafed clover. Whats about ironing a lucky pig? Flat pig = more surface = more luck???
Greetings, Johanna
Soooo fun and pretty Lynn. Thanks for the celebrity shout out and your fabulous Spring flowers, giving the rest of us hope. I'm always behind you in the garden and I'm getting excited!
ReplyDeleteI love crocus. We can't grow them here as I think our winters are too warm. Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteI hope the warmer temps this week will bring me a crocus or two soon! Winter doesn't seem to want to let go here.
ReplyDeleteLove the poem!
Beautiful crocus and daffodils, I love the colour of it. Spring is comming rapidly! Thanks for sharing such a happy post.
ReplyDeleteYour welcome to visit, I'll be delighted!

We are just starting to see a hint of green coming through...now flowers here yet. Love the color!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Crocus! I will be there on the 15th! Looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of your crocus! We still have snow here. A few flakes were flying earlier today too. Love your bit of spring! I like your Celebrity Cook Along idea!
ReplyDeleteOh, Lynn, I love you and your cute personality.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the PARTY....Gonna be fun.
Love your pretty flowers. We don't have any as yet.

OOh love the blue. I bought some blue pansies to plant just today. They just looked so friendly. I think they might last for several months anyway. I have had one crocus appear and it was yellow.. the others are still in bud.. Thanks sooo much for your cheerful post! Love the poem.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! My daffodils are halfway blooming!Looking forward to seeing all the Ina recipes :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeleteI also loved your funny little quip about ironing the four leafed clover. That must be my problem. Years ago, the husband used to find them, and I pressed them in a heavy book.
And all these years I've been blaming broken mirrors...
Ok.....the pigs on this blog are a riot!
ReplyDeleteThanks for making my day!
;)
Crocus's mean SPRING! Yeah! Thanks for being a part of Seasonal Sundays.
ReplyDelete- The Tablescaper
What a welcome sign! I hope ours will be up in another week or two.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute poem--love it :) I just love crocus! We don’t want to press our luck for sure. HOpe you had a great St. Patty’s Day.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with FFF!!
I saw our first one today too in my garden!
