Saturday ReView: My Absolute Favorite Pickle Recipe and 4th of July Barbie Crafts Round-Up

As we're coming into the heart of summer garden season I wanted to share my all time favorite pickle recipe. It's a Sweet Bread and Butter Refrigerator Pickle HERE. This is a fantastic pickle, no canning necessary. Toss it together, place in fridge and let sit for about seven days to marinate... And if you make it now, you'll have some killer pickles in time for the 4th of July BBQ! This picture is from 2010, my first year of blogging. And yep, I do need to update it, hopefully my planter of cukes cooperates and I can do that soon:@) Please note: The recipe calls for sweet bell peppers, the only reason you see hot peppers is because I didn't have bell peppers on-hand when I made this batch.

It also makes ~amazing~ Bread and Butter Pickled Jalapenos HERE.

This is actually the fourth most viewed recipe on Pig In Mud!

4th of July is coming up quickly folks... How about whipping up some easy Headbands so Barbie can show her colors and be ready for the parade!

Make something just for fun and have a great weekend:@)
