Of course that perked a couple ears up, but I think Earl will get over it...
eventually.
For Week One I decided to make an appy that I bookmarked last year...
Bacon Wrapped Apricots with Sage
Love the salty-sweetness of this perfect bite sized munchie! Not sure what the sage brings to the party,
if you don't have it I think it could easily be left out.
Oh and, you don't need to have fun little picks in your team colors but um, all the cool kids do:@)
Go Eagles!!! Boy I love football season!
Bacon Wrapped Apricots with Sage-from Noble Pig
24 small fresh sage leaves
24 dried apricots
8 slices of bacon cut into thirds
2 Tblsp pure maple syrup
picks for serving
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Place apricot on piece of bacon and sage leaf on apricot.
- Wrap bacon around apricot and place on baking sheet seam side down.
- Bake 6-10 minutes on each side.
- Brush with maple syrup once out of the oven.
- Serve warm.
