Early Fall By The Creek

Hey everyone! It was a gorgeous afternoon so I took a walk down to the creek to look for signs of fall:
I'm sure the squirrels are excited!

There's a blush on the crab apples, and...

Berries

Some leaves are beginning to turn colors.

And of course it wouldn't be Fall without...
Ragweed.

That's what's happening North of Philly, hope it's beautiful where you are too:@)

  1. Lynn,
It certainly is a glorious day! I've got all the windows open and have been cooking pinto beans in the crockpot all day.
I should get out and take a walk, too!
Isn't the changing of the seasons wonderful to watch?

  2. Ragweed? Isn't that what some people are so allergic to?

It is a perfect day, slight cloud cover, mid 60's...just right for canning my pickled green beans, so off I go now. xo

  20. Love your early fall photos...my holly berries are all bright RED and have been for weeks. That really scares me cuz I'm afraid they won't last until Christmas.
