Hey everyone, It's time for Sheila's
Rooster and Hen Party! I'm joining with an original piece of stained glass. I drew the pattern and made this one in browns and amber, it also has just a touch of red.
My son's girlfriend (at that time) gave me this great hand painted slate from a Craft Fair!
The slate was salvaged from the roof of an old horse barn from the 1800's in Vernon, NY.
Earl's on vacation, headed to the Jersey Shore...
That ham bone ought to fit right in:@)
I still thought I'd leave you with a little bit of silliness:
Have a happy day:@)
That stained glass is gorgeous! My hubby does stained glass so we are very picky about handing out praise for it (esp when people ask a lot of $ for a sloppy piece at craft fairs). Great colors and design.
ReplyDeleteLove the stained glass. The KFC witness p.p. is a hoot!
ReplyDeleteI hope Earl will be sending postcards to his favorite followers!!
Best,
Bonnie
HA! Who knew they had a witness program?
ReplyDeleteThese are just great! You know how much I like anything with chickens on it!
ReplyDeletelove the chickens!
ReplyDeleteI love your stained glass piece! The chicken at the end is too funny.
ReplyDeleteHope Earl has fun at the Jersey shore,be sure and keep plenty of sunscreen on,wouldn't want a sack of spicy pork skins to show up on the blog, take some photo's of Earl getn' the "tan" on,and be sure to get photo's of good eats,I know Earl will be adventurous, and share the delights.

We bought a stained glass window from a restaurant a couple of years ago and are waiting to be able to built it into our new house. I should do a blog post on this, now that I think about it. It is baking related. Thanks for the inspiration!
