My friend T brought me this ad from K-Mart...
Had to see it for myself - Road Trip!!!
I bravely brought my camera into the store (after ruffling feathers the last time I did that, details HERE:@)
Only got one pic before my batteries died... don't ya just hate it when that happens!
He sure was a cute little guy, but at about $50 he did not come home with me.
(I wouldn't spend that much on a pig I could eat!!!)
(I wouldn't spend that much on a pig I could eat!!!)
Have a happy day:@)
Today I am thankful for a silly sense of humor that let's me see the fun in things like this pig:@)

Did you forget about the coupon for 25% off, I'm not real good with math but I think that would be $37.50. Does the jacket and hat come off? You could dress him for every holiday.
ReplyDeletehehehehehe.. you are so funny.. He is a cutie but I agree unless he can be glazed, sliced and put on a yeast roll, $50.00 is too much...
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI love your posts and the comments as well. Who ever had the idea to dress a pig like a Santa Claus. Looks so cute. But I agree, that is much money for a joke. But Mr. Pudge would have liked it. And you? Don't you dream in the nights of the poor little sad piggy who would love to live in your yard....? :-)
Greetings, Johanna
Watch for post holiday sales when he may be 50% off or better. He is too cute. La
ReplyDeleteOh, he is a cute one though. Who knows, he just may show up on your lawn yet. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend. ~ Sarah
Love that pig Lynn, all $50 bucks of him!!!!
ReplyDeleteHe's a cutie!! Maybe he will become the blue light special!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
I have a flying pig version of that!! WOOHOO! It is awesome! Happy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteOh that is adorable!
ReplyDeleteBut I agree, I wouldn't spend that much either!
Happy Weekend Friend,
Cindy
Cute Santa Pig- hope he goes on sale!
ReplyDeleteHey sweetie, I will wish you a Happy Pink Saturday anyway. I would have come looking for you if you were not on the list!! HA! I too think he/she is wonderful but I probably would not have spent that much. Maybe he will go on sale and you can get him then.....Char
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could buy him after Christmas, L. I don't know that many who do a pig decor for Cmas, so there may be some left! :)
ReplyDeleteAre you going tomorrow to CTS? I going Mon with the Tablescaper I think to use my coupon!
I hope he's still there after Christmas for you to bring home. How many people want a pig on their front lawn anyway? You NEED to have it!
ReplyDeleteHe is a cute little piggy but I agree the price is a little high for a "pig" even if he is a Christmas pig.
ReplyDeleteHappy PInk Saturday.
Lynn, I saw this at K-Mart and immediately thought of you! Have you told us why you love pigs soooo much? I used to collect pigs too, but somehow when my parents died, they were disposed of...sigh -- there were some great ceramic Mexican piggy banks. Happy Pink Piggy Saturday. Joni
ReplyDeleteWow.. How funny! I love the name of your blog! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe recipes are fantastic too!!! I will be coming back to check more!
Please, if you have a minute (or more) visit my blog. I've just stared and I love when people come to say "hello". :-)
Have a great weekend!

Lynn, how could you resist this piggy, and why are you talking about eating them in front of him? How does someone think of dressing a pig like santa and actually do all the design, planning and production? Hilarious! I hope you pick him up when the sales start. Linda
ReplyDeleteOh too cute! I don't think he would came home with me either at 50 bucks! Happy PS!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Jacalyn
oh my!! that little guy is too too cute!!
ReplyDeleteOh Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday. $50.00 when pigs fly right? Oh my just give it a little time, they will go on sale and when they do, be ready. Then they really will fly right out the door. Isn't that just the cutest darn thing ever? Love pigs. I see you do too.
Hope you have a beautiful Pink Saturday. Thanks for sharing sweetie. I will pop over for your CSN drawing. I somehow missed this one.
Many hugs sweetie and SO much love, Sherry
Lynn,
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Hope you can get him at 70% off after Christmas!
Carol
Hi Lynn, That pig is just to adorable for words. Maybe you'll be lucky and find him marked way down right after Christmas.
ReplyDeleteSo cute and unique! I never thought I'd see pigs for Christmas decor...Christine
ReplyDeleteThis is the firszt time I read a post of yours ...but I like it!!!! Ciao from Italy
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute Christmas Piggie....but $50.00??? Keep an eye on it and maybe it will be yours when it goes on sale!
ReplyDeleteJil
I have never seen a cute pig like that one before. I enjoyed your post, I hope you get the pig on sale one day soon. I read your other post you linked to this one. I wonder what the sales person thought you were going to do with the picture you took.
ReplyDeleteThat pig is sorta cute. But, wow $50.00. Now, the hippo? Not sure who's going to buy him.
ReplyDeleteThat really is cute. It amazes me how each year cuter things come out but, unfortunately with a high price tag.
ReplyDeleteYou still came through just fine with your post today. Maybe not pink, but it still is a cute one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! I bet he goes on sale after Christmas.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Sunday
Cute post, I love the piggy :) Maybe the price will come down after the holidays, I'm sure there's no mad rush to buy a $50 pig?
ReplyDeleteA cute little pig...but not for $50 dollars. I think some of the prices for Christmas decoration are outrageous. will be back again ..Hugs . Have a safe weekend
ReplyDeleteWay cute, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for a sale!
ReplyDeleteCAS
I am having a feeling that little Christmas piggy will be going on sale and you might have a couple in the yard! He is pretty cute, especially if you added some wings and put him up on the rooftop.
ReplyDeleteOh, the things they come up with.
You are too funny! Perhaps you can snag him on a sale. He does look like he should be part of your collection.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing the pink guy, and braving the camera police, with Seasonal Sundays.
- The Tablescaper
How cute! I've never seen one like that!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
OMG, he was MADE FOR YOU!!! Hmmmm, I am definitely on the watch for one for you... Who knew pigs would be SO DARN ADORABLE decked out for Christmas! Well, at least you got a picture of him!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs to you, Donna
OMG.....I'm the queen of "light up" stuff. I have tons of santas, jackolanterns, a ghost....even a turkey....but not a PIG!!! That's awesome. I hope you keep your eye on him.....he just might hit the 50% off mark before Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great weekend!!! dana
Sure is cute! It's astonishing the places pigs turn up! Jacqueline
ReplyDeleteWait until closer or right after Christmas, then Little Piggy will be on a big sale. Seems the Santas, angels, and snowmen are always the first to go with these less traditional things hanging around. My guess is you'll get him later since you loved him so much.
ReplyDeleteI have paid that much for lighted things, but only ones that are big and look sturdy enough to last a long time. Sadly so many of the newer lighted things are so flimsy I wouldn't spend that kind of money on them either.
haaahaaa!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful..Thank you for sharing...
HAPPY PINK SATURDAY
This little piggie has your name all over it!! You NEED him!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLynn, that little pig is just adorable! As others suggested, perhaps after Christmas you can get him on sale. He is so cute, and I know you would enjoy having him in your home!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Beth
That little pig is very cute but he would have to be on sale for me to want to keep him! Hee Hee! Sure is a cute little fella. Anne
ReplyDeletehaahhaa...he IS cute but, hey, for 50 bucks, we could have the ham and all the trimmings. :)
ReplyDeleteI stumbled on your blog a while back...think it was the name that got me...I have a "slight" thing for pigs myself. I bought this same pig at Target last winter and then took it back after I felt really guilty for spending that much on a pig for the yard. They have it again this year, and I'm not so sure my self control is much stronger! He'd look lovely on my front porch; I'm sure he'd look as lovely on yours as well!
