~Super~Easy Apple and Sausage Appetizers-Super Bowl or Party Treat

Rumor has it there's a big game coming up, has anyone heard about that??? I guarantee that even if you don't like to cook, this Apple and Sausage Appetizer is super easy and might just become your signature dish for parties going forward. This is a simple appy that will bring a lot of fun flavor to your next party, and it has been guy approved by an impartial group of taste testers here at Pig In Mud:@)

Notes:
  • I didn't have chunky applesauce on hand, so I used regular unsweetened applesauce.
  • The recipe, as written, is a huge amount for a ~big~ crowd. It's easily scaled down.
  • Leftovers? How about frying up some cabbage and onion, boiling some noodles and serving the sausage on top for dinner.
  • Tip: When I buy a 12-16oz horseshoe shaped package of sausage/kielbasa for myself (meals/snacks for one person) I cut it into 5 pieces, wrap each piece in plastic wrap and store them in the freezer.
