Bavarian Meatballs -Slow Cooker Appetizer (Little Dipper Crock Pot or Larger Recipe)

As soon as I saw these super simple Bavarian Meatballs over at Pandora's Box I knew they'd be the next thing to make in my Littler Dipper Crock Pot:@) This is a great munchie for any occasion and serving them with holiday or team colored forks or food picks (go Phillies!!!) adds to the fun. I love that using a slow cooker during the warmer months really doesn't heat the house up much at all. Don't hesitate to give these tasty meatballs a try folks, I think they'd appeal to most and that you'll be pleased.

I've adapted the recipe a bit for a smaller amount and will list that below. You can stop by Patti's for the full 2 lb recipe

Bavarian Meatballs-adapted from Pandora's Box
For each 7oz frozen cooked meatballs:
1 Tblsp dry onion soup mix
1 Tblsp brown sugar
1/4 small onion, sliced and chopped
1/4 C beer
  1. In vessel of crock pot stir to combine soup mix, brown sugar, onion and beer. Add meatballs and stir to coat.
  2. Plug in Little Dipper Crock Pot, cover with lid and cook for 3 hours, stirring at around the hour marks.
  3. Stir and serve.
Enjoy a munchie and have a happy day:@)
