What a perfect post for Pink Saturday. That runner is too cute for words. I hope you have a wonderful day. Blessings...Mary
ReplyDeleteHow cute is that. I love the little guy. Did you know that my Aunt and Uncle in Wisconsin used to be pig farmers along with being dairy farmers. I don't tell that to just anyone! We grew up going to visit the baby pigs.
ReplyDeleteCute post!!
ReplyDeleteI just read Jacqueline's comment.
My oldest daughter was one of the first girls in FFA, way back in the early 80's. She raised pigs two years. We had cows, but that was the only time we had pigs out at the farm. This was when I was still married to the girls' dad...many a long year ago. The Hamps were notorious escape artists.
Well, I thought that, in my looong lifetime, I had just about seen it all but Santa riding a PIG?? You NEED that runner, girl...:)
ReplyDeleteI live in a '50s house, too..no metal cabinets, tho...our house was built in 1957 so maybe they had quit making the metals by then.
I hope you get the runner! It's so you! Happy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteSherry @ A Happy Valentine
Hubby & I are still chuckling over this one. We love pig-things, too ... butthis one is the best ever!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas ~
Have a beautiful weekend ~
TTFN ~ Hugs, Marydon
Love ham for Christmas and we always have it...with fruit salad. I really, really hope that Santa brings you that Piggy Tablecloth cause I bet it would be perfect for your '50s house! xoxo Nancy
ReplyDeleteOh how cute that is! I love it! Since I am an Ark. Razorback fan, I'd be saying OOOOOO Pig Soooooie, cause that's what we Arkansans say when we see our big Razorback mascot. I know a lot of Razorback fans who'd fight you for that cute runner. I love all of the captions you posted too-you are so clever. Hope Santa brings it to you. Thank you for linking this to Favorite Things. laurie
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteOh how adorable is this table runner. The elf is running away with his pig friend so that he doesn't get caught for the Christmas dinner. He loves riding him so. How delightful and fun this would be on a Christmas table. Definitely a conversation piece. I hope Santa has seen your list in time for the holidays.
Thanks for the recipe share. Wonderful share sweetie. Just wonderful. Many hugs and so much love, Sherry
Santa listens to good girls and boys :-)
ReplyDeleteSending a holiday 'oink' to you from Frog Hollow Farm! Holiday decorations from other countries are so very interesting - they really give the holiday another level of understanding. I don't know if I ever told you that my son loved his Mrs. Piggy and Mr. Piggy while he was growing up. They were little furry squeak toys that we made sleeping bags for and mended with rick-rack and grosgrain ribbon! He even painted Mrs. Piggy with all of her mending while in Florence Italy and sold it to a collector! Hope all is well! Ciao, bella!
ReplyDeleteHello Lynn,
ReplyDeleteyes, thats really a tablerunner, made for your pleasure. I hope you will find one. What a fun.
Greetings, Johanna
Well I sure do hope Santa is listening. This is soooo perfect!
ReplyDeleteHappy PS,

I don't believe I have ever heard or seen a design like the elf and the pig..how unusual ..I hope it finds it's way to your house.
ReplyDeleteThis post is a hoot. I have never seen Santa ride a pig before, but I bet he is doing that just for you!!! Thank you Lynn for the sweet comments on my blog. I haven't been in Pink Saturday for two weeks now because of lack of time. I have missed everyone and hope to be back next week. Happy Pink Saturday girlfriend, Char
ReplyDeleteThat recipe sounds so good and I love your photos. Happy Pink Saturday.
ReplyDeleteI woke my husband up this morning chuckling at your post titles... I think my favorite is "Porky pudding to all, and to all a good night"! although "8 second ride" is a close second! Thanks for the smiles :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, this tickled my funny bone! I love your possible post titles! What a fun way to start my day!
ReplyDeleteYvonne
Oh how I love your blog!!! This one made me laugh. In much of Europe, a pig is good luck. In German the saying is "Hab' Schwein gehabt".. which means I had good luck. That is going to be one delightful tablecloth! I can't wait to see what you do with it, I'm sure it will be your spectacular self. Merry Christmas and yes the treasured ornaments are staying put. Although the ornaments in bowls and such remain untouched. But that can change any minute! Thanks for dropping in.
ReplyDeletegiggle, so cute. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI love coming over just to see your header! Those pigs pulling the sleigh make me laugh every time I see them.
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
Debbie@lakehouse
