Bella will come out on those days I'm grilling a little something for just myself and feel like using charcoal. The grate area is 5.5" x 8", only big enough for maybe two hamburgers, 4-6 hot dogs, one steak, etc. Gonna take her for a test drive today. Stay tuned...
I found these Planters Chipotle Peanuts at Walmart-boy are they a tasty snack! I had to chuckle, while it wasn't on the ingredient list the first thing that hit my taste buds was lime... They have a smidge of heat to them but I consider them mild, especially if served with an ice cold adult beverage:@) If you like smoky chipotle folks, you'll love these nuts!
And lastly, I'll leave you with a quick pic of my 4th of July feather tree.
Time for me to start focusing on making and finding decorations for the Eagles/football tree I'll put up next!
I hope you're all having a great 4th of July weekend-
The rain has cleared out and it should be a spectacular two days here in Philly!
PS-I stopped by the craft stores today and they're already putting out fall and Halloween items... amazing.

no WAY! Now that has your name all over it! But, Terra Bella is pretty cute too.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you found this! Now we're all going to want one! I love it! And your tree is very fun! Happy weekend my friend! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteOf course you have a piggy grill!

ReplyDeleteI saw this and wondered how long it would be before you got it!
ReplyDeleteThat is so darn cute and Terra Bella....perfect! Love your tree!
ReplyDeletehugs, Linda
Terra Bella is a cutie, did you name her after me? Ha ha, well my name is Terra. I wouldn't paint her in case the heat from the grill would release toxic paint fumes (?) that could get on the food.
ReplyDeleteGood thought! Her face and ears don't get very hot, the... other end... gets hot! I'd just use those acrylic craft paints and think it will be ok though:@)
DeleteSorry the Philly 4th events were rained out. Our rain came Thursday night which made for a fresh cooler Friday morning for the parade.
ReplyDeleteSending you a pic from the parade. We had a surprise participant this year.
Love the new grill. Perfect for you! '-)
Oh I'm so glad you got Terra Bella, Lynn! She's going to be perfect for just cooking for you, and now Earl has a girlfriend. I can't wait to see how you paint her. Enjoy your new toy!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear how the cute grill works out for you! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteLynn, I love your little piggy. I am going right over to World Market and get one. IT would be perfect for me - just one. You find the best cooking items. Terra Bella is a great name for her. Before I fell in love with roosters (my son started that) I was having a love affair with piggies and had lots of pig items. Over the years they have broken, so I am done to 3 pigs, so I really feel I should have a Terra Bella pig, of course I will re-name her.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful rest of the weekend - glad you only had rain.

ReplyDeleteThat grill is very cool, love it. Of course you would find something like that :) Looks a lot like your little friend.
