Over cast skies and misty morns,
Crackling fires and cider warms.
Twilight brings an eerie feel,
Orange leaves crunch beneath the heel.
Bats fly high all through the night,
Everyone shivers at that sight.
Revel in October's magic:@)
Have a happy day!

ReplyDeleteHi Lynn, I like your cute arrangement. Marigolds are one flower that even I can grow. They don't seem to need as much attention as many other flowers in my garden each year. Hope you liked the buttons. Have a great week at work.------Shannon
ReplyDeleteMarigolds are a perfect color for Fall, but I don't like them in summer. Clashes with my color scheme!
ReplyDeleteGreat poem and cute header, Miss Techie!
Lovely fall color on your marigolds. It is actually chilly here in Georgia tonight and I will have on a sweater at church in the morning!
ReplyDeleteMarigolds are pretty neat. They're so sunny all Summer long, but perfectly Fall too.

ReplyDeleteHard to believe it's already October, but I do revel in its magic. Today that is likely to mean sitting in front of the fire in my PJs as it is a most gloomy day outside.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful marigolds! I'm trying to get into the fall. Today I'll be planting my tulip bulbs which just arrived from when I ordered them from the Tulip Farm tour in Portland last May. So excited...they are orange!!

Here in So. California we don't really feel fall until the end of October. We had an extremely cool summer but this week they say it will be quite warm. My roses are loving it...not quite the fall look yet. Hope you are having a great weekend.
