Just Peachy!

Hey everyone-Happy Tablescape Thursday! Ok, technically they're nectarines... work with me here...

Alternate Titles:
On the way to 5 a day!
Dining with daisies.
Cake and tea for me.
Love to bake some breakfast cake!

I won the tablecloth on ebay, it has a fun print and great colors.
The dishes are Corelle Crazy Daisy pattern found at Salvation Army, I like the green with this tablecloth.

I made another cake, recipe HERE and I agree with everyone, I think it's prettier with the fruit sliced too.
Have a happy day:@)

  4. Everything blends together so well. They really compliment each other. The cake seems out of place though, you should just send that to me! LOL! I still think the sliced fruit looks better than the halved fruit. It makes such a pretty presentation.

  6. I thought that was Corelle but when I saw the cup on it's side it looked to thick. It is a pattern I vaguely remember, they must have made it better back then..Really!?

Great tablecloth find, the colors are so vivid.

  9. What a beautiful table setting! I love Corelle dishes. Our family still uses the set of Old Town Blue Corelle dishes that sweet hubby and I got as a wedding present over 30 years ago.

  30. Oh my goodness. These were my every day dishes for YEARS. Even when I was tired of them after 20 years, they wouldn't break. Finally got some new ones...but you have now made me sad that I don't still have them!!

  31. Pretty tablecloth & everything on it, too! I used to have a set of Corelle's Crazy Daisy pattern. I think I gave it to my sister & she is still using it. I'm tempted to go BACK to using Corelle, as my current stuff is so dang heavy. Poor DH can't hardly lift it or empty the dishwasher due to arthritis in his hands.

I bet that treat tasted even better than it looks. Yummo!

  33. This setting is wonderful. I have some corelle downstairs in J's bar I should use. Love it.

I bought peaches for your wonderful Martha Steward inspired dessert. They ripened fairly quickly so we ate them...mostly standing over the sink with juice running down our chin and arms!LOL Wonderful peaches. Always have to have some, unpeeled, while standing over the sink! I am still going to try the dessert.:-)
