Earl's 4th of July Snack

Hey everyone! At Earl's ~subtle~ request I did give my new cookie cutter a try and think they turned out cute. I tried a new recipe, one my friend Joni at Red Couch Recipes uses. It's very tasty, especially as raw dough, I don't usually snack on that but this was very good...

This is a very light "tablescape" but I still wanted to join in!

  32. Your cookies are darling! What a talent you have. My oldest daughter is like that, she didn't get it from me. That's why I like the country look. Gingerbread with a thick spread of white glaze. No details for me!

  46. Visiting via Diann's Thrifty Tablescape party. Your patriotic cookis just make me smile! Over and above Earl's challenge. I am sure the artistic talent is yours but also know Earl helped clean the mixing bowl.
The recipe sounds much like one from my childhood that I think needs revisiting.

I am seeing your pickles mentioned all over the blogosphere.
    Happy 4th!
