Buffalo Wing Sauce Roasted Broccoli

Happy Super Bowl Week! In my book that means it's time for wings... Well, wing sauce at the very least. My Buffalo Brussels Sprouts proved to me that some vegetables are great with spicy wing sauce so I couldn't wait to try this Buffalo Wing Sauce Roasted Broccoli! Lots of ~big~ flavor here folks:@)Whether you're still on your New Year's diet, a converted vegetarian missing wings or just want to amp up the flavor of a side dish, don't hesitate to give this a try.
Be sure to give the broccoli a healthy drizzle of sauce before serving for an extra kick!

Click my 'wings' label for some other fun ideas, Crispy Oven Wings and Guiltless Buffalo Chicken to name a couple.

Buffalo Wing Sauce Roasted Broccoli-from Good Dinner Mom
1 large head broccoli cut into bite size pieces (4-5 cups)
olive oil to drizzle
2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 Tblsp melted butter
1/4 to 1/3 C Frank's Buffalo Wing Sauce or your favorite brand
  1. Place broccoli in plastic bag (or I used a Lock-N-Lock bowl)
  2. Drizzle lightly with olive oil, sprinkle with garlic powder and S&P. Shake bag or put lid on L-N-L and shake to coat broccoli.
  3. Pour onto baking sheet and bake at 450 degrees for five minutes.
  4. While broccoli is in the oven, add butter and hot sauce to a bowl (I used the same L-N-L), pour broccoli into bowl, add lid and shake to coat.
  5. Add back to baking sheet and bake for another 3-4 minutes, you want it slightly charred but still crisp/tender.
  6. Optional (but recommended) add final drizzle of hot sauce before serving.
  7. Optional (but I opted out of the extra calories) bleu cheese dressing for dipping.
Eat well and have a happy day:@)
