Bacon and Jalapeno Deviled Eggs

This is a first for me, I've never added anything... chunky... into my deviled eggs. Gotta tell ya, these Bacon and Jalapeno Deviled Eggs were very good, lots of big flavor and I loved the crunch of the peppers!
You may notice that I used the Mustard Pickled Eggs from my last post. The pickled egg added a little extra punch to the deviled egg, but the plain white ones were very yummy too!

If your crowd doesn't like jalapeno you could leave it out and make Bacon Deviled Eggs,
they'd be a nice Father's Day treat too... I think I heard somewhere guys like bacon:@)

Bacon and Jalapeno Deviled Eggs
Your favorite deviled egg recipe-I use some mayo, a little mustard, S&P... no measurements
For every 4 eggs plan on:
2 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled small
1/2 jalapeno, cleaned well and finely diced (about 1/8")
  • Mash the yolks and mix your deviled eggs, then fold in the bacon and peppers. Fill eggs and garnish with extra bacon or jalapeno if desired.
  • You might want to hold back on the salt until after you mix in the bacon, add more if needed.
  • I put the mixture into a disposable icing bag and snipped off the end, makes filling the eggs easy!
Eat well and have a happy day!

  3. Your eggs look so pretty. I love deviled eggs, but sometimes my eggs don't peel well and end up being not very attractive...

  20. In a very roundabout way, I've just found your blog. I'll be back! Those eggs and the pork tenderloin look to die for. Since I'm so bored with cooking, maybe these new recipes will spark a little enthusiasm. My hubby would surely appreciate it.
