Precious Peonies

Hey everyone! I'm happy to be joining Vee again for the Note Card Party where we choose 4 pictures we took that we think would make a fun set of note cards. How about some vibrant peonies this time, close your eyes, can you almost smell them:@)

Five years ago I spent $2 on a couple twigs in a box from Walmart called Bowl of Beauty.
I ended up with three different peonies from that box, this is one of them.

My friend T found the white ones at a yard sale and gifted me some.
They are very happy and get stronger every year-thanks T!

White led to experimenting with food coloring last Memorial Day...

And this year I just had to try yellow:@)
Have a happy day:@)

  17. What fun with your peonies. I would not be as clever as you to think of coloring them, but mine were too purple too I guess. They have been gone away for a long time so it's nice to see yours!

  25. I didn't know that one could dye peonies as one does carnations. How cool is that?! I love peonies. I love them more with each passing year and, believe me, if I could find a $2 box I'd grab them. It must have been fun to see what you would get.
