4th of July Feather Tree

I wanted to share my 28" feather tree as it's all decked out in red, white and blue! I'm always on the lookout for small ornaments for it and change it out for all of the holidays except Christmas.

I was really into making beaded ornament toppers for a while and made a few for the summer holidays.
(Don't know who that pudgy chick is:@)

Lovin' the little pail...

Cute little ornaments from craft stores, flea markets, ebay and a trade show a friend went to.

This rocket will be 20 years old next year, I picked it up on vacation in 1,000 Islands, NY.
Isn't the greatest part of collecting things the memories of where you found them!
Have a happy day:@)

  2. The Feather Tree is quite a treasure! How fun to decorate it for all of the different seasons and holidays and it also serves as a scrapbook of sorts.

I have a small white feather tree that has a carved wooden 'turkey' as a stand...don't ask...I have no idea.

    Have a great week! xo

  14. This whole blog is making me feel all happy and patriotic this afternoon. I loved what you did with your checkerboard cake pan in the post below, and this is just plain festive! My favorite part is the pail you used for the tree stand.
