Table for One-My Favorite Halloween Decoration!

Hi everyone! I'm joining Centerpiece Wednesday and Tablescape Thursday with the one Halloween item that means the most to me, this silly Walmart Jack-O-Lantern.
My G-Mom-B is the only person I've known that lived in the same house most of my whole life. I was so lucky to be able to walk to that house while growing up. She lived to be 98 years old,
but still shaved a couple years off her age and said she was only 96:@)
She did spend some time in a nursing home and I brought her this pumpkin,
she asked "where am I going to store it?". I told her I'd take it home and bring it back every October.
I'm pleased to say she enjoyed it for a while, and now I do too!
Have a happy day:@)

  3. Hi Lynn, I haven't been over for a while because I thought you were taking a long bloggy break. Am I crazy or what? I saw your comment on Pink Sat. and decided to see if you were blogging again. I can see many darling posts that I have missed. Your Fall posts are all just delightful and your recipes you shared are too. I am sorry I missed so many. Anyway, I love your favorite pumpkin story and the photos. I just came back from a mini blogging break.

    Happy Fall my friend.
    Warm hugs,
    Jeanne

  26. That is one very special pumpkin! I guess there is something about revealing one's age that bothers so many of us. My mom was just in the hospital for a short stay, and would not tell the nurses her age (87)! It is a big secret! Happy Halloween! Linda
