My G-Mom-B is the only person I've known that lived in the same house most of my whole life. I was so lucky to be able to walk to that house while growing up. She lived to be 98 years old,
but still shaved a couple years off her age and said she was only 96:@)

She did spend some time in a nursing home and I brought her this pumpkin,
she asked "where am I going to store it?". I told her I'd take it home and bring it back every October.
I'm pleased to say she enjoyed it for a while, and now I do too!

We have this same WM guy sitting on the picnic table @ our campsite...he's also a favorite of mine...thanx for sharing your story.

ReplyDeleteThat is one very special pumpkin! I guess there is something about revealing one's age that bothers so many of us. My mom was just in the hospital for a short stay, and would not tell the nurses her age (87)! It is a big secret! Happy Halloween! Linda
