You could weigh or measure the batter for more even layers (I just estimated).
1 box white cake mix, regular size
3 whole eggs
orange Jello, four serving size
lime Jello, four serving size
Frosting of choice-I used one can of white marshmallow flavored frosting
- Prepare two 9" cake pans. Line bottoms with parchment paper, spray pans and paper well with Bakers Joy or a similar spray.
- Mix cake per box instructions, but sub 3 whole eggs for the whites.
- Split batter between two bowls, add one flavor of Jello to each bowl, mix well.
- Pour into cake pans, bake at 350 degrees for recommended time on box or until toothpick comes out clean.
- Let sit in pans for 10 minutes, turn out onto rack, remove parchment paper and cool completely.
- Use frosting or icing as desired.
Eat well and have a happy day:@)

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute idea! Love it Lynn! ☘️
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty cake, Lynn! I’d be just guessing, too, instead of weighing. I’d love a slice right about now.
ReplyDeleteThat is a pretty cake
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely quote, Lynn. It is authentic in so many levels, and one of the best life quotes you have shared. To discover something we never knew existed and to work on that one thing for a lifetime is a goal in itself. To truly share our learnings with others is the biggest life achievement of all.
ReplyDeleteNothing better than a jello cake. And this one is so petty to look at.
ReplyDeleteThe colors are so fun and festive for St. Patrick's day. Looks yummy! I love your blog name! I'm visiting from Craftastic Monday.
