Crochet One-sie Two-sie Dishcloth

I worked up a couple more Crochet Dishcloths and tried an alternating single crochet (one-sie) and double crochet (two-sie), clever name huh:@) People have been making this simple pattern forever, this is the first time I've tried it though, I likey!

I love the bit of texture it has and the generous 8" size can be worked up in less than 2 hours.

One-sie Two-sie Dishcloth
Using an I hook and 100% cotton yarn-
~Ch 27
~SC first row, ch 1, turn
~*SC first hole, DC next hole, repeat from *, Ch 1, turn
~When just about square, SC last row.
If all goes well, every row except the first and last will begin with a single crochet and end with a double crochet...
Have a happy day:@)

    1. Howdy! Everything I read says folks use 100% cotton for dishcloths, so that's what I stick with:@)

  15. I really appreciated this pattern and inspiration reminded me of my Aunt Ruth's that use to make me dishcloths. She has sense passed and all mine are warn out. I made this from Lily Sugar Cream olive green, red and white variegated yarn. Love It!

  16. Thanks for sharing this pattern. It's replacing my old one that I had to continuously check. Easy to remember with it's onesie twosie and to begin with sc and end with do. Just a brilliant pattern.
