Salmon and Dill Deviled Eggs

These Salmon and Dill Deviled Eggs would be a nice addition to Mother's Day Brunch. There really aren't any rules folks, we're simply mixing egg yolks and salmon with mayonnaise and some dried dill. Any amount works, love fish? Add more salmon. I used a little envelope from Walmart, I'm sure some fancy lox from the deli would be great, or maybe even a little leftover grilled salmon from last nights dinner. I chose to garnish mine with some fresh dill, but I'll be honest and say, a quick sprinkle of dried dill would have been just as nice. And this is one time you won't have to worry about having enough filling for the deviled eggs... There will be plenty:@)

Salmon and Dill Deviled Eggs
6 hard boiled eggs, cooled, peeled and cut in half lengthwise
2.5 oz envelope of salmon, squeeze the extra liquid out of the pouch
Mayonnaise as desired
A few shakes of dried dill, to taste
S&P to taste
Paprika and dill for garnish
  1. Pop yolks into bowl, mash with fork.
  2. Add salmon and enough mayonnaise to make a creamy mixture.
  3. Add dill and salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Sprinkle with paprika and dill for garnish if desired.
Eat well and have a happy day:@)

  4. Hi Lynn! I have missed stopping by to visit with you! And it doesn't take long to come across something that looks really good. Like these salmon deviled eggs. We had salmon last night but no leftovers. I like that your mentioned using packet salmon. That's what I'll look for.
