Celery seed was the predominant spice I could smell as soon as I opened the jar, followed up by garlic and black pepper. They mention salt, pepper, onion, garlic, celery and parsley on the label. I don't see any paprika which makes it different than some other brands. This is also a very fine grind of spices and I think it will work well in a vinaigrette for salads and marinades. I did add it to egg salad and that was very nice! Don't hesitate to give Nature's Seasons a try folks (Walmart had the best price), it's a nice seasoning blend that would work will with most foods.
I'd like to thank Bloggy Buddy BJ for mentioning how great this salt was, I just had to pick some up...
I can't wait to try it on some veggies that aren't dried and popped:@)
Have a happy day!
Just sharing a product I'm enjoying folks, Morton doesn't even know who I am.
You've come up with another popcorn winner Lynn.

Hmmm, Lynn, an interesting way to get your veggies in! There are even some green veggies there if you count the celery and parsley! We have so much Boy Scout popcorn in this house but it disappears the minute it comes out of the micro. No time to add your clever toppings, but next time I will try. Your ideas always make my mouth water. Linda
ReplyDeleteI'd take this out to the old ball game!!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
I'm sort of a popcorn addict. It's a diet thing. I can eat and eat and eat (and I generally do) and not feel guilty. Love the recommendation for this one and will look for it in the store and/or amazon.
ReplyDeleteWe eat popcorn ALL THE TIME! this will be a great change for us to try. Thank you dearie.

I have used this for years...it's my go to salt mix. It's the celery seed that I love. It's yummy on popcorn and everything else.
ReplyDeleteI have no love for Lawry's.
I will have to try that seasoning! I just want to say that I got the cutest little card from you! Loved it. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteHey, I have that one!!! Never in a million years thought to put it on popcorn, though. You are sooo much more adventuresome that me, Lynn.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go sprinkle some on a piece of spreadable-cheese filled celery right now. My latest lo carb go to nibble these days...That should kick it up a notch!
I love this blog, but it makes me so hungry!
ReplyDeleteI love it when we learn from others about great products, Lynn. I'm still using the Lawry's Chile & Garlic on my egg every morning, that you wrote about awhile back. I'll try this one, too. Variety is the spice of life as they say...
ReplyDeleteI have used this in the past and it is really good but I've never tried it on popcorn. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteYou had me at Popcorn! I would like to try this salt for sure!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite all purpose seasonings, too! I have trouble finding it, but just spotted some at Kroger and snatched it up last week!
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn, you have made ordinary popcorn into the extraordinary!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lynn, I'll have to give it a try, popcorn is a favorite snack for me too :)
ReplyDeleteJosie LOVES popcorn and LOVES seasoning on it. I'll have to look for some other things for her to try on her popcorn.
