Quilted Team Christmas Ornaments

This week for my PIGSkin Challenge I thought we'd get started on some Christmas crafting! While these Quilted Christmas Ornaments may look involved they really aren't and there's a very good tutorial HERE. Team fabrics (as well as many other themes and cartoon characters) can be found at Walmart and JoAnn Fabrics. Turn a simple Styrofoam ball into a keepsake ornament with nothing more than fabric and pins! Well... maybe an iron too:@)

I got carried away with the pretty primary colors on the Steelers one...
I'd make it using gold and black next time.

In order for this to work well, you ideally want a logo that's about 1" to 1 1/2" square. 

Anything else and you'll have to play with the spacing and placement of the pointed pieces. 

Yep, it did take a lot of feneggling to make this odd shaped Eagles logo work...

Of course these ornaments can be used with any fabric or color combination.
They're great little stash busters too.
