Fortunately, voters have the chops to prod him out of his slop-habits until he gets his bacon cookin' in a row. (I love the pig theme. When my son was bitty, we'd give each other pig kisses. Snort snort.)

I laugh as I remember my mom adding to the "chicken in every pot" by saying, and "a pot to put it in". Earl is the man! It would make a great bumper sticker!

ReplyDeleteHow funny! Thank you for your sweet comments about my journal, and I do want to encourage you to start a journal. I started mine on the hopes that one day when I'm long gone, my daughter and granddaughters would find them and consider them a treasure of their grandma's life. So, along with the artsy stuff I include personal diary pages . . . things to help them know who I am and from what roots they came. Have a great weekend.
