Even though we have not had much of a summer, I am looking forward to fall, and your flowers have sure picked up all of the colors. Have a wonderful weekend, Lynn!! xo
Your photos are lovely, but I do not yet hear the siren call of fall. Summer came late to us in the PNW and I want to hold onto it for as long as I can. I hope you have a great weekend. Blessings...Mary
Hi Lynn, I am an autumn girl through and through, love the colors, my home is autumn all year practically, it is tough decorating for Easter! But I refuse to start pulling out fall decos yet, no sirree, I am clinging to capri's and flipflops and every last bit of summer. After Labor Day I will look forward to autumn, but not what comes after-ugh, xo
We're going to the beach in a couple of weeks, but I'm still thinking Fall. Your zinnias are beautiful. Great colors. As soon as I get back from the beach I'm going to be in full Fall mode. Have a great weekend.
I am happily anticipating the arrival of Fall!!! It is my fav season and then Winter...it has been getting dark earlier and the sun has changed its slant, love those shadows. We had drought and extreme heat this summer and my flower beds are fried!!! My last hope are the toadlilies and monkshood.....hugs...cleo
I say..."Brang It"!!! Love those fall colors and can't wait for cooler weather, pumpkin nut bread, turkey and dressing, pecan pie etc. etc. etc. You do have plans for all that on your Recipe Schedule...right?
I've noticed a haze in the sky that always seems to signal that summer is waning...but I am hanging on a little longer. Of course, we were really lucky with our weather here in the Upper Midwest, so I can't complain. I look forward to decorating for fall, though!
o my gosh...I have never been so ready for fall (really, for WINTER) in my entire loooong life. This has been a hot, grueling, dry, NO FUN summer and I am ready for THE END.
around 100 today.. so no hope of fall yet. This year I'm about to say it's all a big tease!! ;-)... Surely one day it will be cool, send in the icebergs. Your fall colored flowers are so pretty, makes me wish fall would hurry up! xo marlis
Gorgeous colors, my goodness and in your garden, wow! Yes, looks like the colors are perfect for fall, I used to love fall in NY, my fav time of year...I still do now too, there's so much going on with us: my daughter Alexandra's b'day is in Sept. 16th., my b'day os Oct. 20th, my younger Sofia's b'day is Nov. 16th., than Thanksgiving, that I love and Christmas that I adore...so, it is wonderful for us. Thanks for sharing. Love, FABBY
How PRETTY! Beautiful zinnias...I hope I can remember to plant some next year.
Wish I had some daffs to exchange with you, as yours are gorgeous!
I can tell Fall is coming. There is a coolness to the morning air & I've had to adjust the timer on our living room light to come on earlier, as it getting dark sooner. I ADORE AUTUMN!! Bring it on!!!

I'm sure you're right Lynn, but I sure have a hard time giving up summer. My grandkiddies all go back to school this week...:( We have been playing hard all summer. I guess it's time to slow down!
I love your Zinnias and Marigolds!! Those are definitely perfect fall colors. My husband and I both LOVE fall, so we always look forward to it. But this year, I have mixed feelings. This summer went so quickly; and it seems to me that lately, Spring and Fall have been way too short and Summer and Winter just a bit too long. I am definitely looking forward to crisp weather and homemade apple pie :-)
Thanks for visiting my blog and taking time to leave a comment. Have a great week!
I love this vibrant grouping of marigolds and zinnias...beautiful colors of Fall... favorite time of the year for me. Thanks for sharing. Visiting from the Seasonal Sunday's Party. Have a great week!~Poppy
The colors are wonderful Lynn, and I love them even if they mean fall. I love fall but what comes after is not so much a favorite..So we have to enjoy all the color we can get..I am feeling it..our temps today are 55 and cloudy..sweater wearing today..
The colors of your flowers are beautiful and perfectly represent the coming of fall. To be honest, I'm not ready for fall to arrive. We have had a very cool summer here in Southern California and our warmest month is usually September. I am hoping that the rest of the country cools down after the scorching summer you have all had but I am looking forward to summer continuing for another month or so in this area.
PS...However, I am loving all the fall harvest colors of flowers and trees. There really is something very special about seeing the fall colors and the seasons changing.
Love those fall colors - favorite time of year. Thanks for sharing your garden beauty!
