You're right, it would cook faster & you wouldn't have to be concerned about the middle being done all the way. <br /><br />Thanks for the tips about separating bananas & freezing them whole. I've always cut the into little coin shapes, sprinkled with cinnamon & then frozen them on a tray, putting them into a zip-lock freezer bag later.
