Deco Mesh Tips for the Christmas Tree

While what I'm about to share may be an ~everyone already knows that~ idea... I, apparently, did not. Everything I read said to tuck the mesh into the branches creating the eb and flow of the garland, and while that worked in a few spots it didn't as a general rule on my tree.

What did work great was wrapping inexpensive wire ornament hooks around the mesh to create the scrunched spots.
Then you can easily place an ornament in front of the wire to hide it or tuck it back into some branches.

And occasionally I got lucky and could wrap the branch tip of my artificial tree around the mesh.
(Kindly ignore the Ghost of Christmas Past reflection in the ornament-thank you:@)

This did give me some poufs and puffs, and that's what I was looking for.
Oh, and my best tip, always buy one more roll of deco mesh than you think you need!

Have a happy day:@)

  4. Your tree looks so very festive with the addition of the deco mesh, Lynn, and the tip of using the wire ornament hangers is a great one. I've never used the mesh, but my daughter made me a wreath with it and I love it.
